MSgt. Frank Maryland Stanley passed away November 29, 2016. Visitation will be 2 to 3 and services will start at 3 on Saturday December 3, 2016 at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Burial will be in the Carolina Memorial Gardens.



Frank was born June 16, 1932 in Wilmington NC to the late Elisha M. Stanley and the late Blanche Stanley. Frank spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy and 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars....

Frank was born June 16, 1932 in Wilmington NC to the late Elisha M. Stanley and the late Blanche Stanley. Frank spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy and 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retiring from the Air Force he went to work at the Charleston Naval Ship yard for 12 years then transferred to the Bremerton Naval Ship yard for 2 years and retired from the Civil Service.



Frank enjoyed hunting fishing and anything else to be outdoors. Frank was a Mason and member of the Acacia Lodge in Savannah GA. He was also in the Sons of the American Revolution and a member of the Major General William Moultrie Chapter.



Frank is Survived by his wife Sammie of 58 years, daughter Diane Faye Larson David a son Frank M. Stanley Jr. , 2 Grandsons, a sister Edith Jobe and a brother Joseph Bridger. He is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews Frank was proceeded in death by his brother Robert Stanley.
