Jimena “Granny Jean” Euthon, 87, of North Charleston passed away on March 24, 2015.



Jimena was born on August 17, 1927 to Serapio and Gavina Briones in Honolulu, HI. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was proud of being a native Hawaiian and survivor of Pearl Harbor. She enjoyed socializing and playing the keyboard at the Costal Carolina Flea Market 20 years where she met so many interesting people. She also loved dancing and performing the hula.



She is survived by her life partner, John Sorensen; one son, Romie...

She is survived by her life partner, John Sorensen; one son, Romie Euthon (Ellie); two daughters, Joni Sturdivant (Marvin) and Juanita Easterby (Donald); five grandchildren, Brittney, Romie John, Travis, Sophia, and Wesley. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.



She was predeceased by her husband of 13 years, John Wesley Euthon.



The funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. The family wishes to invite guests to a reception immediately after the service.
